Can you imagine landing in one of the greatest team building exercises on Earth?

Come to River City Rodeo Robot Competition!

About twenty middle school and a dozen high school teams came together in a big room to build a robot and strategize to meet a previously confidential challenge. The playing field is level. It did not take long for a general strategy to develop for the robot game. We have to come to the rescue of an ailing cow. This cow ingested many metal and plastic pieces that were not meant to be eaten. Teams of two and three robot operators brought their freshly designed robots into the game area, entered the game board through the cow’s “mouth,” traveled to the cow’s “stomach,” and pushed, scooped and extracted as many pieces of metal and plastic as possible within five minutes.

The high point of our club leaders’s day?

Our club won First Place in the Middle School Division!
