The end goal is getting the rocket you design and build out in the air flying faster and farther. There are more ways to get there than I can imagine. Start with the four forces of flight. Consider Newton’s Laws. Go on to roll that paper into a tube just the right diameter. Get yourself some optimum fins for guidance and stability. Do not forget about the nose cone that needs to stay on until you want it to separate. What do you plan to use to propel your rocket? Keeping in stride with environmental stewardship, we prefer to use compressed air.
