Question: Ever wonder what is almost as good as a gift certificate to a candy store?  Answer: A trip to Strategic Air and Space Museum SASM in Ashland Nebraska to see the CEENBoT Showcase!

This time around the museum the challenges are the brainstorms of computer science engineers at University of Omaha UNO CSE program at PKI. This year’s challenges encompass agriculture and robotics. The challenges are met by hopeful youth in elementary school, middle school and high school. Challenges include: “Cow chip Foosball,” “Gather the Animals,” “Feed the Animals,” “Plant the Corn,” “Cultivate the Corn,” “Rescue Grandma,” and the exciting Showcase Games Arena. This all takes place in the hangar at SASM under some very large aircraft. The first three challenges are met by maneuvering a CEENBoT robot using a game controller. The last three challenges are met by programming the robot using a CEENBoT Commander GUI application or a Texas Instruments TI calculator (really geeky!).
