Information Technology InfoTec collaborates with Applied Information Management AIM Institute whose mission statement consists of empowering communities, organizations and individuals through Information Technology IT. AIM Institute’s vision statement consists of strengthening the business community through technology centered products and services. AIM Institute has gathered many information technology vendors and event sponsors in support of the two day long information technology InfoTec conference.
AIM Institute markets InfoTec in the following manner: “Join us at Infotec 2013 and be inspired by IT magicians as they share their triumphs in new innovations, tools and techniques. Infotec’s fun, collaborative environment pinpoints the convergence of technology, business and marketing with slates of great speakers and cutting-edge exhibitors!”
Besides planning and managing InfoTec, AIM Institute organizes well meaning training sessions supporting small businesses, career minded individuals and youth. Of course we would like to see and report on the “magic,” but unfortunately AIM does not appear to publish a student or youth rate for its InfoTec conference thereby appearing to exclude individuals on tight budgets, students and other youth from participation in its general InfoTec conference presentation offerings.
