Academy is a science club for youth that meets at Community of Grace Church in Elkhorn. Academy activities focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) topics. Valley National Weather Station

In April 2013 our 4-H club went to the Valley Weather Station. Brian Smith from the station spoke to our club. A weather balloon is a scientific instrument which is used to collect data about atmospheric weather conditions. A weather balloon measures natural temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure.
